OPI Skyfall Collection

Hey guys!  Yesterday, the new James Bond movie, Skyfall, came out.  I doubt I will go see it, but I do luuurve the new collection that OPI created based on the film!  These polishes have been out for about a month now.  I had to do some serious research online before I could narrow down my choices to just three colors.  Really, they're just all that good.

Skyfall, Casino Royale, The World Is Not Enough
I got both of the cremes in this collection, Skyfall and Casino Royale.  Skyfall is a dark maroon creme that kind of looks like a brownish red.  It's so vampy and sophisticated.  Awesome!

Skyfall
Casino Royale is a dark fuchsia creme.  I really needed a color like this in my life.  It's so cute on my toesies, too!

Casino Royale
The World Is Not Enough is one of the most unique polishes I've seen in a long time.  It's like a taupe base with fuchsia and green microglitter.  I know that doesn't sound so pretty, but it really is SOOO PRETTY.  I wouldn't call this a duochrome, but all the different microglitters make this polish change, sort of like a chameleon!  Sometimes it appears as a shimmery taupe, sometimes a frosty purple, and sometimes a chrome greige.  You really just need to pick this one up and roll the bottle around your hands for a bit if you see it at your salon.  Pictures don't do it justice!

Another angle.  You can see some of the green and fuchsia microglitter on my fingers here.
I'm really pleased with this collection.  I've seen some press releases online about a new Euro Centrale collection and a Mariah Carey collection for 2013.  They both look boring.  I will definitely be keeping an eye on these to see if I can catch any near the end of the season on clearance.  Has anyone else seen that CVS sometimes has OPI collections after they are out of salons?  I saw the Spiderman collection there a couple weeks ago, and I believe it was originally released towards the end of spring.

That's all for now.  See you next time!
