Hello, everyone! Phew! Another week just flew by. Sorry for the mini blogging break, but I just finished a seven-days-with-no-day-off stint at work. I was going to blog about my "Guilty Pleasures" today, but when I was googling my favorite show, "Drop Dead Diva," I found out that Lifetime CANCELED the show a few days ago.

As a fat person, I should be offended by the plot of this show, but I'm not. If you are unfamiliar with "Drop Dead Diva," it is about a shallow skinny model, Deb, that dies and returns as a smart fat lawyer, Jane. AND she's brunette. But at least she's got brains because that is obviously her only redeeming quality now that she is a size 18! AND Deb's former fiance also works at her lawfirm, but he doesn't know that she's Jane. Will he ever be able to figure out that Deb is Jane? Will he be able to love her now that she is FAT?
Seriously though, the premise of this show sounds awful, but "Drop Dead Diva" has everything. I like seeing plus sized actresses on TV, and I enjoy seeing what Brooke Elliot's character, Jane, is wearing. Margaret Cho is actually funny as Jane's assistant, and every episode has Jane defending someone in court that ends up becoming a tender life lesson in the end, and I bawl my little fat eyes out. There's also a lot of guest stars and singing and dancing, which is weird, but it works!
