OOTD: Skater Dress

Remember babydoll dresses in the 90s?  I read somewhere that the skater dress sillouette is supposed to be like the NEW babydoll dress, I guess because they are both universally flattering and hit mid-thigh?  Skater dresses cinch at the natural waist, although I have seen some styles that have a drop waist, too.  You could probably go all kinderwhore on this dress if you wore some combat boots and messy makeup, but I just wore mine with Crocs!

OOTD: Tropical Punch

It took me a whole three weeks to come up with a punny title for this Outfit of the Day, which is about how long it's been since we've had normal, hot weather that you would expect for Florida in late spring.  Seriously, what the hell is going on?  It was COLD and windy outside last night.  It is May 7th and I am without a tan.  GEEZ.  Anyways, tropical prints are usually popular around summertime, so here is my take on the trend!

OOTD: Purple People Eater

Hey guys!  I'm going to apologize again for the crappy bathroom door pictures!  I really want to do better with these outfit posts, and I will try harder to save myself enough time for the tripod.  I promise!

Anyways, here's what I wore to work on Monday.  Any good Depeche Mode fan has a TON of black in her wardrobe!  I have at least five solid black casual dresses, but this one has to be my favorite.  I bought it about four years ago for $4.97, and I have worn it everywhere.  This was my first time wearing it with these purple tights.  It was an easy and cheap way to make this old dress look like a different outfit!

Croc-odile Rock!

Hey guys!  Don't laugh at me, but I looooove me some Crocs.  If someone would've recommended them to me a few years ago, I would've laughed at them.  But my back problems started to become unbearable at my current job after years of abuse in flat shoes on a hard floor for 8+ hours a day.  I noticed that many of my coworkers were rockin' some Crocs so I finally gave in about a year ago and bought some Kadee flats.  I don't think I could ever go back to other shoes now.  I guess you could say I'm like the Mario Batali of retail.  Because we both wear Crocs, get it?

I've been wearing my ragged out Kadee flats all summer long because I just couldn't stand to wear other shoes to work.  I got some overtime in the last two weeks, so I decided to finally fork over $35 at the Crocs kiosk at the mall and get a new pair.  But when I went to find the Crocs kiosk at the mall IT WAS GONE!  Damn. 



Here are my old Kadee flats.  My feet are totally crooked so my shoes always end up look bent like this.
